Build Your Business Plan (BYBP)

Walk out with a first draft of your business plan.

Have you created a business plan? Is your business plan up-to-date?  If you have never created one or if your plan is more than a year old without being reviewed or your business or business methods have changed, you need to do a business plan.

You might be able to download a plan template from SCORE or the SBA, but what does it all mean? Do you understand what to do and why to do it? How do you take a generic template and make it mean something for your business?

We have our own emphasis on building a business plan, having some of the same sections but also focusing on answering the questions that help you to create a business plan that says what you want it to say and does what you want it to accomplish. Our method will provide you and your company with the unique document specific to your company needs.

Be prepared for an intense learning and writing experience that facilitates you in creating the basis for your business. You will spend 6 solid hours of learning with your instructor, interspersed with writing the business plan section-by-section in a manner specific for your company. You will receive a binder with the presentation and the pages to write the sections to be written, and a CD with the files and templates that match the written sections in order to create the final document.

Does that sound good? Do you want to walk out with the first draft of your plan?

Build Your Marketing Plan (BYBP)

Walk out with the first draft of your marketing plan.

A friend of mine described their marketing concept as taking something about the company or product and “blowing it up real big” in order to highlight it to potential customers. While some of that is true, the best marketing and sales efforts happen when there is a concept and an idea, a plan, as to how to proceed.

Your marketing plan spells out how you bring your offerings to clients and customers in an organized fashion. You do this because marketing is communicating and educating, not just advertising.

Who are your customers? Better yet, who would you like your customers to be? What is your market like? What value do you have to your client or customer? What kinds of lead generation methods might work for your target customer? Do you test your work and measure the results?

Take an organized approach. Walk through the entire process, an intense learning and writing experience that facilitates you in creating the basis for your marketing and sales. You will spend 6 solid hours of learning with your instructor, interspersed with writing the marketing plan section-by-section, with you choosing the marketing methods appropriate for your company and client base. You will receive a binder with the presentation and the pages to write the sections to be written, and a CD with the files and templates that match the written sections in order to create the final document.
